We are in El Chaltén in Argentina, and are about to do our first Patagonia hike. I am writing this brief note because the internet here is super expensive, $10 pesos for an hour when it was $1-$2 pesos an hour everywhere else. Henry is doing good now, he’s all fixed up. The mountains here are amazing! I can’t even describe it! More details later, when we find cheaper internet.

Also, we are going to be heading to Australia around May. If anyone knows a cheap way to fly there from S. America, or any inside deals that could help us, please send us an email….thanks! Our love to all!

I forgot to mention: The car that we saw that looked like a fellow around-the-world vehicle ended up going the same direction as we were, after leaving Colonia. We ran into them on the road as we drove north from Carmelo, Uruguay. They were a couple from Sweden that have been traveling around South America for the past two years. They are now heading to Buenos Aires to ship their car back to Europe, and fly home themselves.

A few problems…. which has caused a delay to our posts. First: I got sick again and it took me out of commission for a few days. Second: Our computer convienently decided not to cooperate with us right after I got better. So, we will be posting our entries without pictures over the next day or two. I will add pics once we get the computer up and running again.

Since we don´t have the computer running it has also made it very difficult to update our website (www.happilyhomeless.com) and we are currently in Buenos Aires. Just got here so we´ll tell you our thoughts soon

Just to let you all know we are still writting, don´t think we have left the blog to rot We have been hanging out in a gypsy town with no net connection, but we are now back in Montevideo, so the blog will be updated ASAP! Catching up is always hard….

Hello Everyone!! We hope everyone is well and happy. We are well and happy… happier if all goes well tomorrow. So, if you don’t see any new posts on our blog it is because we are riding on the ship down to Chile, with our van Henry. We will post ASAP when we get there (around the 11th of Feb. maybe). Please check back around then! If we end up not getting on the ship, you will hear from us in a few days. Wish us luck, and cross you fingers…

Hello Viewers - We apologize for the long wait between posts, and for our homepage not being updated lately. No, it is not due to us having too much fun in the sun - though we are enjoying the beaches. Our blog has been down due to switching internet hosts. I will be updating about two days, per day, starting on Monday

The homepage will be updated as soon as we get our internet connection working on our laptop — we have had a few problems with our laptop

Okay - We appoligize for the photo album style of show and not posting them with the blog. There are two reasons for this - one, we took way too many photos and wanted to share a lot of them & two, it is a lot faster for us to do it this way when there are so many photos. We will normally post pics up with the blog though - unless there is a ton (like when we visit such beautiful places in the national parks).

Another Note

Hey Everyone — We just stayed two nights at my Aunt and Uncle’s place in Salt Lake City, had a wonderful relaxing time. We haven’t had time to update the blog or pictures - but we will have a lot to post up very soon.

Burning Man was amazing and I will write about it later - best experience ever though, such a great community and giving people - all of my friends from the East Village would have loved it.

Right now we are on our way to Alaska. We have to cut our trip short by two weeks due to the hike in gas prices… so we are having to skip our stops in Wyoming and Montana and drive straight to AK.

To all my Loisaida soccer players - do your best damage this season - I miss you a ton and good luck with you fall season!! I can’t wait to hear how it is going and I’m thinking of you all a lot.
